One dead and three injured in high school shooting at graduation ceremony
At Sem Yeto High School in California on Wednesday, June 3, one person was killed and three others were injured in a shooting at the graduation ceremony.

The Fairfield Police Department responded to an incident in the parking lot of Fairfield High School at 7:15 p.m. local time, according to Officer Michelle Belyea at a press conference.
While one of the shooting victims was pronounced dead, three others were transported to the hospital. The condition of the injured victims is unknown.
Authorities indicated that the injured were 11, 20, and 25 years old, while the deceased victim was 18.
“It’s a very scary incident when something like this happens, especially at the end of a school event,” Belyea said at the press conference. “So, obviously, all we want is for everyone to be safe.”
