Doral, Florida One Person Dies and FIVE are Injured in a serious Accident Involving Seven Cars

An accident occurred in Doral, Florida, around 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2026, between NW 36th Street and NW 87th Avenue.

Six people were injured. Four were treated and released without incident. Of the other two, one was airlifted to the hospital, and the other was taken by ambulance.

After the crash, local residents assisted until Miami-Dade Fire Rescue arrived. Seventeen units, including air rescue and a technical rescue team responded, officials said, because there were also possible victims trapped in the vehicles.

According to an official report by MDFR Chief Rogelio Vandamas; the driver of the red GMC pickup truck suffered a heart attack, causing him to lose control of the vehicle, which spun against traffic, collided with and landed on top of a white Honda Pilot. Several other vehicles were also involved in the crash and one died en route to the hospital from their injuries; their identity is currently unknown.

Later, an official report confirmed that one of the hospitalized victims died from their injuries and cardiac arrest; their identity is Carlos Blanco, a Cuban businessman who was driving the red pickup truck and had recently returned from Spain.
