Months earlier, the owner had stated his opposition to Trump’s immigration policies, claiming they were harming his business due to ICE raids.

The unexpected visit, surrounded by a large security detail, saw the president greeted by Doral Mayor Christi Fraga. His visit lasted only four minutes.
Trump was warmly received by a large crowd both inside and outside the restaurant. He told us, “We came to buy food for Air Force One.” He ended up taking some arepas with him.
