President Trump, on Monday afternoon, visited Venezuelan restaurant in Doral El Arepazo, one of the most popular and well-known restaurants in Doral’s Venezuelan community. Months earlier, the owner had stated his opposition to Trump’s immigration policies, claiming they were harming his business due to ICE raids.

The unexpected visit, surrounded by a large security detail, saw the president greeted by Doral Mayor Christi Fraga. His visit lasted only four minutes.


Trump was warmly received by a large crowd both inside and outside the restaurant. He told us, “We came to buy food for Air Force One.” He ended up taking some arepas with him.
President Donald Trump’s visit to Doral hosted the Shield of the Americas Summit, urging Latin American leaders to help combat violent cartels.
