RAPID CITY, South Dakota—FBI Minneapolis Field Office Special Agent in Charge Christopher D. Dotson announced a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the 2022 murder of six-year-old Logan Warrior Goings on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation.
On May 5, 2022, at approximately 9 p.m., Logan was at the home of a relative in the Number 4 Housing Area in Oglala, near the community of Pine Ridge. A vehicle pulled up to the home and one or more unidentified assailants fired approximately 14 rounds into the house. Logan was shot and died. Several others, including children, were also inside the residence.
“This senseless murder shook the entire community, and the investigation continues to be a priority for the FBI and our partners,” said FBI Minneapolis Field Office Special Agent in Charge Christopher D. Dotson. “The death of any child is a tragedy. The wanton murder of a child is unconscionable. Someone knows who is responsible for this abhorrent crime. As our hearts go out to Logan’s family, we ask that anyone with information on this murder reach out to help bring justice and a semblance of closure to this family.”
