The new Whole Foods Market in Doral, Florida opened its doors on July 2, 2026. Mayor Fraga welcomed attendees at the grand opening of the market, which will offer more than 550 products from over 125 Florida suppliers.
Also present were elected Doral city officials Digna Cabral Vice Mayor / Councilwoman, Maureen Porras Councilwoman, Rafael Pineyro Councilman, Nicole Reinoso Councilwoman, the new Police Chief Matthew Castillo, Deputy Chief Jonathan Dweck, Peter Espinosa, candidate for Seat 4 on the Doral City Council, and Fernanda Gomes, candidate for Seat 2 on the Doral City Council.
On opening morning, the first 300 customers in line received a limited-edition Doral tote bag and coupons worth up to $100. Customers also enjoyed samples from Zak the Baker and coffee from Panther Coffee.
The store offers fresh produce and flowers that comply with the Pollinator Health Policy (Sourced for Good) to reduce the use of chemical pesticides, and a wide selection of certified organic, conventional, and sustainably sourced (Sourced for Good) products.
All seafood is locally sourced, including fish and lobster caught in Florida.
Prepared meals and ready-to-cook meals are available, along with a variety of packaged smoked products.
The meat counters are full-service, with certified animal welfare options and expert butchers available to cut steaks and poultry upon request. They offer house-made fresh sausages and marinated and seasoned meats for quick and easy meals. We were told that the animals must be raised without antibiotics.
A specialized artisanal cheese department is located at the cheese counter, overseen by expert cheesemakers who can offer recommendations for any occasion and create custom cheese boards.
They have an extensive selection of ready-to-drink beverages and spirits, with over 800 wines and 250 craft beers.
Bakery with freshly baked bread daily, Prepared Foods Department with hot food and salad bars featuring a rotating menu of comfort food and seasonal options, fresh pizza by the slice or whole, and a gourmet sandwich shop with sushi prepared daily by Sushi Maki.
The Wellness and Beauty Department offers a wide range of body care, beauty, lifestyle, and supplement products.
