On Saturday, July 11, 2026, Mayor Christi Fraga and the City Council invited the community to welcome the new Doral Chief of Police, Matthew Castillo.
During the event, residents had the opportunity to meet Chief Castillo, speak with him, and hear his vision for strengthening public safety, fostering community involvement, and continuing to build a close relationship between the Doral Police Department and the citizens.
The event reaffirmed the City of Doral’s commitment to transparency, collaboration, and the safety of all its residents.
