Former Attorney General Pam Bondi, who was fired by President Trump last month, will testify this morning before the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into her role in the release of files belonging to the late Jeffrey Epstein, convicted sex offender.
Republicans on the committee claimed to have scheduled Bondi’s deposition and accused Democrats of unnecessary misconduct and theatrics. Meanwhile, Democrats on the House Oversight Committee took credit for the Republican decision to publicly set a date for Bondi’s deposition after filing contempt charges against Pam Bondi for disobeying their subpoena to testify.
